Revival From the Most Terrible Pain – Loneliness || Fr. Hayden Williams OFM Cap || The WOW Series

Writer's picture: Fr HaydenFr Hayden

One of the hardest and most terrible things to go through in life is experiencing loneliness. You could be married, in a crowd, in a community, surrounded by people, and still feel lonely. When God created Adam, He said it was not good for him to be alone. And we see in the Gospel that Jesus, being God and human, in the garden of Gethsemane, asked His disciples to remain with Him. Jesus needed human companionship. However, loneliness is not the same as solitude. Fr. Hayden Williams OFMCap, an itinerant preacher of the Gospel and the founding father of the Franciscan Fraternity of Jesus and Mary, shares practical steps to help overcome loneliness and transform it into solidarity.
